Abortion: Opposed in all cases. Believes unborn child is a creature of God.
Agriculture: Would do what we have to do to save America"s family farms, even if it means helping out at the federal level.
Budget surplus: Give half back to the people in the form of across-the-board tax cuts, and use the rest to pay down the debt.
Campaign finance reform: Eliminate corporate contributions and soft money, and congressional pensions, and require members of Congress to raise 50 percent of their campaign contributions in their home state or district.
Defense: Must rebuild defense. Need to rebuild the morale and might of the armed forces of the United States as Ronald Reagan did.
Education: Abolish Department of Education and return its function and funding to state and local control; promote charter and magnet schools; favors constitutional amendment allowing voluntary prayer.
Environment: The country has an obligation to be good stewards of God"s benevolence to the United States.
Gun control: Preserve Second Amendment rights. The specifics should be left to the states. Washington should not decide for everyone else.
Health care: First, all federal programs like Medicare should be fully funded before any add-ons. Second, America should get the good manufacturing jobs back because they carry good health insurance for their workers.
Presidential behavior: Private lives of public men should be private unless it affects performance in office.
Social Security: Should be preserved for everyone who's paid into it. For younger folks, part of their Social Security contribution should go into private accounts to grow separately from their retirement.
Taxes: The tax burden is at an all-time record claim on the resources of the American people. The tax burden should be lifted.
